I first made a video blog because I realized that it is much easier to get a young person to watch a video than it is to get them to read a written blog; I understood this because I was one of those young people. While I continued writing, I also began this video blog. After a brief introductory ten-minute tutorial from a friend, I taught myself how to edit videos using Final Cut Pro. As I continued this “vlog”, its purpose grew, and as I had so many adventures and opportunities to travel, I felt that it would be doing everyone a disservice if I did not properly document such excursions. Therefore, this vlog is dedicated to documenting the life I am privileged to live.

Professionally, I hope that future schools and employers will take note of the initiative I showed with creating these videos. I have never been paid for any of my work in editing, and have begun to realize that I hope to never have to.
